Superficial chemical peeling effectively treats fine wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone, and dryness. Generally, 4–8 sessions are performed at intervals of 1–4 weeks.

Medium-Depth Chemical Peeling

Medium-depth chemical peeling targets both the epidermis and the upper dermis. Before the procedure, the treatment area is numbed with an anesthetic cream. A deeper peeling effect occurs in the skin. Usually, 2–4 sessions are performed at intervals of 2–4 months.

Deep Chemical Peeling

Deep chemical peeling is applied to the epidermis, middle dermis, and deep dermis. Since the procedure reaches the lower skin layers, the recovery process is longer. It is generally performed in a single session.

What Should Be Considered After Chemical Peeling?

• The crusts formed after the procedure should not be peeled off.

How Should Skin Care Be After Chemical Peeling?

What Are the Types of Chemical Peeling?

Glycolic Acid Peel

Chemical peeling procedures are mostly performed during autumn and winter. The reason is that the skin becomes more sensitive to sunlight after peeling. However, chemical peeling can also be performed during summer if proper sun protection is maintained. High-factor sunscreens should be used after treatment, direct sunlight should be avoided, and tanning beds should be avoided. Protection from the sun is extremely important for treatment success.

How Long Does Peeling Last After Chemical Peeling?
